Inspired by his lifelong fascination with the Wild West, legendary playing card designer Randy Butterfield is proud to introduce an incredible, fully-customized deck of cards dedicated to the Wild West’s Deadwood and The Black Hills regions.
For this unique project, Randy stepped away from his computer and went back to his roots with paper and pencil. Every single element beyond the fonts and map on the interior of the tuck case has been crafted by hand.
Washed in a lovely cream color, WILD WEST: Deadwood Playing Cards have a softened sepia tone that contrasts perfectly with the face cards and allows the incredibly detailed illustrations of influential figures from the time period such as Wild Bill, General Custer and Calamity Jane to truly stand out. Each suit carries its own distinct set of unique characters and backgrounds. The backs of each card and Ace designs were inspired by the exquisite engravings often found in leather holsters and saddles during this era.
WILD WEST: Deadwood Playing Cards were printed by LPCC on a classic stock. Each deck is neatly secured in premium matte tuck case with embossing, gold foiling and bright Pantone White UV spot ink. Avid deck collectors will also absolutely love the four-color Black Hills map found on the interior of the tuck case.
